DMAM Live Auction Event upcoming Friday, October 23rd
From Past-President DMAM Zach Bouslog:
"This is a highly-anticipated event each year and cannot happen without YOU! As we've done in years past, we are asking members and their businesses to consider donating an auction item towards the cause - please and thank you! All collected items will then be auctioned off back to DMAM members during our meeting on 10/23. The cause you may ask - over the past 5 years, we have provided north of $70,000 worth of coats, hats, gloves, undergarments and snow boots to the kids of Capitol View Elementary. In fact, we raised enough to cover the entire years worth of fieldtrips for their kids, as well! You all showed up last year and helped us raise $21,175 in less than 30 minutes..... Let's do it again!!
If you or your business are willing and able to provide a donation, please reach out directly to discuss:

This is an annual overnight fundraiser where participants sleep in cardboard structures at Drake Stadium to raise awareness and funds for homeless youth in Central Iowa. Now in its 20th year, the event honors Reggie Kelsey, whose death in 2001 after aging out of foster care without support sparked a movement that has since raised millions for kids who need it most.
Have a life skill that homeless youth can learn from? Over lunch and dinner there are opportunities to talk to the youth about housing, financial planning 101, solving legal difficulties, communication skills, dressing for success etc.
*DMPS One Run, Saturday, October 17, 10:00 AM, Capitol View Elementary. Run it, walk it, or stand at the finish line and be loud for Des Moines Public Schools kids. All three count as community service. https://runsignup.com/Race/IA/DesMoines/DMPSOneRun
