A Message from Grace Kelly

Hello Rotary friends,

I wanted to share an update on my husband, Brian.
Brian is scheduled for eye surgery on June 22 and continues to rest while managing pain. He is almost completely blind in his right eye, but his balance has improved significantly. When able, Brian and I have taken short trips around D.C. His memory and judgment are still healing, but he remains positive and determined.

We likely will not be home until September, though the timeline remains uncertain. Thank you for your prayers, support, and thoughtful check-ins.
We are also grateful for the help with our yard and the cards you have sent. Your kindness has meant a great deal to us during this time.

ROTARY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY: SUMMER YARD BEAUTIFICATION

Thank you to everyone who helped beautify Grace & Brian Kelly's yard this spring. The roses are beautiful and very happy!

September is a long ways out. If you would like to get involved with future yard beautification efforts, please text your interest to Angie 515-770-5812. I will add you to the chat.

Note: you will need to bring your own yard equipment when you volunteer.

Thank you for helping make a difference!
